Transducer
Transducer Definition - What is a Transducer?
A transducer is the device that converts one form of energy to another form of energy. The most common form of energy that enters into a transducer is a signal. The signal enters into the device and it is transformed into vibration. For example take a speaker which is a transducer. The signal is the sound wave that is entered into the speaker. The Speaker converts the signal into a vibration that becomes heard by the listener. Even modern digital devices use this basic concept but with much more complex components.
